We are 970 meters above sea level and 10 km from the city center, where the markets and restaurants are located. So we recommend that you bring whatever you need from the market so that you don't have to go down to the city center. We are not a guest house, so we do not provide food. But we leave basic items, such as coffee, sugar, salt, oil, personal hygiene products, bath salts and foam, bed linen, table linen and towels. Our kitchen is equipped for cooking, but if you don't want to prepare your own meals, you can also order delivery. There are restaurants that deliver at noon and in the evening to the Refúgio. Menus are available in the chalets. We also have a partnership with cold cuts baskets. If you are interested in ordering, please contact us for more information.

We are 10 km from the city center, approximately 8 km of which is on a dirt road. On days of heavy rain, we provide a transfer service for guests, so that they can arrive at the shelter safely and calmly.

Some tourist attractions that we recommend in the city:
Soldado de Sebold: Main tourist spot in the city, located 24 km from the Refuge. It is one of the most spectacular sandstone rock formations, which are embedded in the Serra Geralde Alfredo, with 90 meters each, they stand out being side by side, resembling 4 soldiers lined up. Trail option in Soldados, classic car trail to the soldiers' base, 6 km walk to the viewpoint. By bike same section of the classic trail [edited] 4x4 vehicle, alternative route of 24 km.
The Lajeado Canyon is 24 km from the Refuge. Located near the classic Soldiers viewpoint, the Lajeado River Canyon is about 2 km long. It starts out small and narrow and then becomes large. Its most beautiful part is just after the beginning, where erosion from the running water of the Lajeado River has carved beautiful shapes into the sandstone walls.
